Our History

Genco Energy evolved from a separate business specialising in design/build construction and project management in New Zealand. - 2006
The founders/principals were called on to provide project and construction management support for a power project in North Western Australia. - 2007
Emanating from the project success in North Western Australia, Genco Energy Ltd was incorporated in May 2007, and the business expanded into power project development. - 2010
Genco Energy Ltd separates its businesses of power project development and project management with the formation of Genco Project Management Ltd. - 2011
Genco Project Management Ltd establishes a project office in Perth, Western Australia. - 2011
Gengear Ltd was established as a specialist power-gen equipment trading and brokerage business to support Genco Energy projects. - 2013
PT. Genco Energi Indonesia was established in Jakarta, Indonesia, with local country managers/partners. - 2013
Genco Energy commences pursuing projects in Botswana and Nigeria. - 2013
